An interesting article on the ILM website explains that senior managers risk alienating their staff by retreating into their shells during the recession, a new study has warned.
Research by Right Management has revealed that just half of UK workers feel senior leaders at their firm are not "visible to staff". It also revealed that a third of respondents do not think senior managers lead by example.
Recently, a study by the Institute of Leadership & Management and Management Today magazine revealed that a third of UK workers have little or no trust in their boss.
