Article in icwales about the first masters in business and law (Mbl) in the UK which is being offered by Swansea University, in a bid to create a new breed of entrepreneurs. The qualification is designed specifically for managers of small, high-growth businesses and is being funded through the Assembly's Knowledge Exploitation Fund.
It is great to see a drive to develop and equip the managers of tomorrow with the skills they need to steer their companies through to success. The article states that there were 727 new business start-ups in Swansea alone last year - and industry figures predict that 229 of these will fail. Obviously with figure like this it is imperative to build individuals which can be key to avoid business failure.
At t2 we have a wide range of training programmes and Practical Advice and Support to help individuals build on their skills and set them on their way to being successful in business. And all that without having to go to university, being a student and becoming a social outcast.
